Ios 6 where is youtube app

Actually I have been checking out the apps and there is one called Jasmine. Think it s based in Australia, but it is super fast and better than anything Apple or Google have ever had. Plus it is free! Sep 26, AM in response to littlelo01 In response to littlelo Just use the mobile version of the youtube site for now. It's the best we can do.

Sep 26, AM. Sep 28, AM in response to roaminggnome In response to roaminggnome. Tried your tip. I could not find the you tube app. Meanwhile my kids 2yrs old who could previously swipe and go to you tube to watch and sing to the wiggles are left to cry until I go in via safari , really stupid apple really stupid Sep 28, AM. Sep 29, AM in response to littlelo01 In response to littlelo Come on people, grow up.

Get educated. Apple knows what it is doing and removing its competitors products such as maps and YouTube makes business sense. You can not have everything in this world and if you do, enjoy it!

Apple will eventually improve its products to make them competitive with Google's which is going to be difficult because Google has been improving them for a long time and they are very popular; nevertheless, if whining and complaining about it got the products back on the iPhone- then let us all complain- but since that is not going to happen, let's just find alternatives and enjoy all the other great updates that iOS 6 brought us.

Think about Ford or Chevy car owners wanting to have on their vehicles the reliability and dependability that Toyota and Honda have developed over the years, it is just not going to happen. Now, Apple is nowhere comparable to Ford or Chevy, but in the other two, Toyota and Honda, are very similar to Google in quality and great products. Sep 29, AM. What the heck did IOS6 bring us?

A world clock that the majority of people that have been polled wouldn't have even asked for What does anyone consider so hot about IOS 6? Like you said in your last posting, get real! Oct 13, AM in response to littlelo01 In response to littlelo Just revert back to iOS 5. If you have an iPad 2 you don't get Siri with iOS 6 anyhow, and the rest of the improvements don't make up for it. As for those that are saying its good business sense, that's a load of crap.

This reminds me of Microsoft back in the day when they incorporated Internet explorer into windows and got sued, only worse because at least back then you had the choice to install Netscape Navigator from a disk. Since the only place you can install from is the App Store, there is no possibility of installing the most popular video service in the world's app on my device.

I wouldn't call that whining. I would call that a valid complaint about a stupid decision. Oct 13, AM. You seem to be filled with angst when the fact is that you don't need an app for YouTube.

It's a web service that runs just fine in Safari. How did you ever watch YouTube on your desktop without an app? IT has nothing to do with whether or not you can still get to YouTube using a browser, and its not angst. I am merely stating my opinion.

I'm not gonna go beat my dog cause there's no app. I would pose to you the same question from the opposite point of view Why get rid of the app which has more features than the web client?

The real reason is the revenue google makes from the 6 to 12 second ads that play before some of the more popular videos.

Apple can't stand that someone is making money and they are not getting a piece of it. I Have all Macs in my house, two iPads and an iPod touch for my MP3 player, so I would call myself an avid Mac user for years now, but I simply don't agree with Apple taking away the app, which again, has more features than the web client. That's my opinion.

Everyone is entitled to one. Oct 13, PM. Oct 13, PM in response to littlelo01 In response to littlelo This whole discussion really doesn't matter because Google has reported that they are in the works with a new YouTube app for iPad, and it will be released in the coming weeks.

For those of you who kept saying why not just use the browser, you need to read this article and see all the new features in the app that the browser does not have, and realize that you want the new app as well Oct 22, PM in response to littlelo01 In response to littlelo If you have a video you'd like to upload, just tap the action box the box with an arrow coming out of it in a video-compatible app and select YouTube to upload your content.
